If we now add the pronouns "your" ((ཁྱེད་ར་ ང་གི་) , "my" (ངའི་) , and "his" (ཁོང་གི) , we see that
they precede the nouns they rnodify

It shoul d be noted that the pronouuns "my" (ངའི་) aund your" ((ཁྱེད་ར་ ང་གི་) i n the above
examples are really combinationsof the pronoun plus a genitive case particle. For i̅
example, "my" is really "i " (ང་) and the genitive case partic le "of" (འི་) ------literally "of i" or
"of me." Similarly, "your" consists of "you" (ཁྱེད་ར་ང་) plus the genitive particle "of ༔་ (གི་) .
