i̅In ancient time, i n a countrry, there lived a ki ng. He was 40 years ol d. He had
abeauti ful daughter. In th at couuntry there was a poor hunter. He had three sons. The
eldest son was 20 years old. That son loved the pri ncess with all his heart and the pri ncess
also loved him with all her heart. One time whi le the hu nter and hi s son both were i̅
hunting i n the mountai ns they snared a white animal, after which the father asked his son,
"Is this really an animal?"Immediately the animal replied to the hunter, "Iam not an
animal. Iama goddess." The hunter and the son both hadi̅ aith in religion. There ore,
they released thei̅animal. Afterwards, the whitei̅animal said, "Thank you, " toi̅the two of
them and after this immediately gave them a glitteri ng diamond and agai n said "Thank
you, " and then flew off i nto the sky. The father got happy and after that started to cryand
whi le c ry i ng sai d, " Now we are rich, " and then tetuurned (home.) A fter thi s, the hu nter
sold that diamond to a trader and then bought many fields and also built a new house.
